Dan is the lonesome oysterman in Oysterville, Washington. As the owner and operator of Oysterville Sea Farms, Dan provides deliciously fresh oysters and clams along with other tasty foods and beverages to the public from the historic buildings passed down through multiple generations in Dan's family. Over the last several years Dan has battled hard with the local government to keep the doors of his small business open. With much time, money and efforts spent fighting many unnecessary legal battles, Oysterman Dan continues to proudly operate Oysterville Sea Farms.

The wildness and remote location of the Missouri Breaks creates a habitat which elk, mule deer, and big horn sheep call home. It also draws the outdoor sportsman and wildlife enthusiast as it provides world-class elk hunting, wildlife viewing and other outdoor recreation opportunities. I visited Central Montana in partnership with Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership to help bring needed awareness to a jewel in our public lands.

Tiger Brenda can be found working on her beautiful property to help others stay fit in her outdoor gym. She's a big advocate for all the precious natural resources in and around Playa Guiones in Nosara, Guanacaste, Costa Rica.

For anyone who walks the precious and special planet we call home, it is highly recommended to treat yourself, family and closest friends to a guided float trip down one of America's Wild and Scenic Rivers. Miles and miles easing through whitewater rapids is a journey that will change your life. Multiple day river trips drifting through the wilderness in a kayak, on a raft or a stand up paddle board - SUP is the most chill roller coaster ride through western America ever created.

Spending multiple days in the wilderness is always a treat. It's extra sweet when the opportunity presents itself to spend that time with a humble and experienced sportsman who thrives on life outdoors and strives to protect our public lands with ethical hunting practices and everyday respect to mother nature.

Western Carolina University offers a freshman orientation like no other. With the Base Camp Cullowhee headquarters located within the Campus Recreation Center, experienced student guides show new incoming freshman how to Live Western. The week-long backpacking trip known as First Ascent Wilderness creates life long friendships, enhances team building skills and teaches great outdoor skills while introducing new incoming freshman to the beautiful nearby natural environments and exciting adventures surrounding campus.
